new blogskin for a new year

Alright I know this is kind of late...but nevertheless...let's welcome the New Year with a new blog skin. I have always been sure of taking history as my major....but now I am falling in love with lit again. Sighsss it had always been hard for me to truly choose either one...I am so freaking glad I change geography to literature!!! If I recall correctly in secondary 3 I had to choose either lit or history as my combined humanities and I chose Literature. Now I have to make that tough decision again and once again I am in a dilemma...sighsss life tough choices.

Maybe it is because this sem history is not that interesting. I am proud to be an Asian but I can't help but find Asian history boring..damn it...

Yet at the same time I hate the technical part of literature...i love the historical part of literature...yea confusing i know....

I want to learn history and how historical events affected society and how society view the different social class especially those in England. And more often than not this view can be seen through novels and poems. Yes, yes you must have guess it I am loving British literature.

Ok now I am confuse..lets just stop this post.

Anyway, I watched Snow White yesterday hahaha I was quite shock that though I remember the plot well enough, I could not really remeber the exact events and such.

I am currently contemplating on whether to join a CCA or not.... I really don't want to pass my uni life simply by doing assignments and exams. I really want to live a uni life!! Have been considering the exchange programmes and stuff as they say, and I believe, is truly a once in a life time experience. Just in case I don't get the summer exchange (which is highly likely) I have applied for the USA and the Himalayan trips as well. I have already received an e-mail from the Himalayan trip about a meeting this monday....so I guess is rather safe to say the Himalayan trip is likely confirm and now all I have to do is wait for reply from the USA trip and the summer exchange to reply so that I choose one out of the three.

When one actually does the reading for literature class, the discussion is actually rather engaging and fun.

On another note.....
Omg!! When RuC showed me the video of Shinee dressed as girls, I really have to post this....

I am like woah! wth Taemin looks so freaking girly! He so skinny that he could actually pull it off!! He looks like those plain cute kinda girl in the video. As for the rest of the Shinee members...well...they look too man though key was not bad. But taemin..woah...

Something new

Went to the quad for lunch with the lit gang and we kind of discover something interesting. RuC was commenting on how weird it was in Korean drama when the person who does not want to answer his phone would remove the battery instead of switching off his phone. Out of curiosity me and Alfie decided to try it out. Apparently when I called Alfie and she removed the battery, the ringing sound can still be heard from my phone whereas if she rejected or switch off her phone the phone would indicate that the user is engage....hmm interesting...so next time if you wan to don't want to pick up a call you can just remove the battery so the other party won't know you don't want to pick up their call hahaha -.-

So far first week of school as been alright. I have a feeling that this semester is going to be better than last semester. AAH103 seem to be very intresting...Part of our project is to go to the Singapore River find some historical stuff and blog about it and go to the Singapore museum intresting!!!!! Hahahaha thankfully manage to get Singpore River instead of those weird ones like Queenstown or Bukit Batok.



Have to definitely go for one of the overseas trip organize by NTU before yr3 and yr4 where we would have our internship...after all uni organized trips are cheaper....and while it is part of the uni experience!! >.<

Out with the usual people at Vivo hahaha it was fun!!!!! We kind of went shopping with Alphonso. All of us except Tp bought something. I am pretty satisfied with my cardigan. Hopefully the chalet booking would be successful!! Damn I really want an A2 chalet!!! Can't wait to go escape!!

On another note I am freaking loving this song by T-ara & Supernova (Time to love). Really good and addictive. Don't really like Gossip Girl by Rainbow...it is just so...bleh -.-
