to fight or not?

I am so glad that even though I had three assignments due last week, I manage to complete everything without feeling stress and in fact, I felt rather good about the assignments unlike last semester where I completed my assignments because I needed to complete it and more often than not, was running short of time.....seriously last semesters' time management was freaking bad. Read a friends blog or more specifically Kailing's blog, about where the place she ends up in was not intended but everything turned out for the better. I can't agree with her more. Where I am now is not where I intended but things have been going great for me and university life is really enjoyable. Just go out and meet people, go for activities, join a cca and woah it can really be freaking awesome.
Speaking of CCA, I am now to chose either the sparing team or the pattern (?) team. Tough decision. I feel like joining the sparing team though...but I am not really fond of getting injured. hmm

Met up with the usual bunch today, as usual they are great to hang out with and I had Hokkaido Ice cream!! OMG freaking awesome!
I will be having tuition tomorrow, hopefully all goes well. Extra pocket money is always welcome.

O.O taekwondo party

Went to the Singapore River for our Heritage Trail. It was awesome!!! Took the bumboat for the first time!! We really walked alot that day. Took alot of pictures too!! Will upload soon.

Went to the Singapore museum on Friday. Omg it was so freaking cool. Went to see the Quest for Immortality the Egyptian exhibition. Awesome! The Singapore exhibition was really cool too unfortunately I could not complete it. I am probably going again during the March break. The best part being that the entry to the museum is free.

Before going to the national museum, had lit presentation. I think it went rather well and I am pretty pleased with it. I have to say my favourite part was Harvinda's and Hafiz willingness to participate in our lit presentation HAHAHAHA.

Later in the evening rushed back to school for Taekwondo. Had a really hard time deciding on whether to go for lit night or Taekwondo. Quite sad that I did not go for lit night but will try to go for next year's one. Yesterday Taekwondo was freaking awesome!!! We were extremely lucky to have the Taekwondo Peace cop come down to NTU. Apparently the Taekwondo peace cop is an organization in Korea, They sent a team ( consisting of 4 people) to different country around the world to pass on their knowledge to us. There were some people from other Taekwondo club that came down to NTU too because it is not every year in fact not very often this peace cop would come down. So I felt extremely glad that I went for Taekwondo yesterday!!

After which we had Yusheng!!! It was freaking awesome!!! =)

Due to the tragic fact that I did not bring my camera most picture taken are taken using other people's camera so I have to wait for them to upload it. Cherry is like the only one who uploads the picture fast. Hahaha.

Finally reached home around 11:40pm. Was exhausted but it was fun.

admire

I find myself admiring those who have really good time management. Good discipline. I have always wanted to be the person who is busy with many things yet able to manage everything. Like good/active in cca, good in studies, have a part-time job (tuition?) and yet have time for family and friends. I have met a few people in NTU who are like that and I can't help but admire them. Some of their schedules are like busier than mine yet they manage to complete assignments ahead of deadlines.
Than there are those who would take the step to find out about things they are curious/interested in rather than wait for thier freinds or to just leave things as it is as long as it does not affect their daily school work. And if they found it worth their time they would just go for it and if no one accompanies them, they would still go ahead and make new friends once they are there.
Once upon a time I used to admire those who are smart but somehow somewhere I start admiring these people instead. They may not be some genius or super great achiver but this trait of theirs is rather admirable...at least to me o.o

Next week will be a rather free week. Yeah!! Let's see I have like two essay assignment due and 1 presentation. Busy~ But shall not stress myself for not only is it totally pointless to get stress over something you can't change, it gives you pimple and a bad complexion which sux. History presentation on China was relatively alright. Ada's mum handmade beautiful flowers for the lit class and I thought it was really sweet of her and sweet of Ada to gives us those very beautiful flowers. Mariam gave us straw made heart which was very sweet of her too. Went to lunch with the lit class where mariam bought candles and we place it on the tables. Went to Canteen A with the lit class to take Polaroid pictures. We took like 10 of it because majority wanted one...man it was so freaking tiring...worst than taking a photoshot I swear.
Not many people came for TKD and we ended early. One of the seniors was very sweet and made roses for us. Talk to some of the females senior in TKD...omg I am so glad they are very friendly even the one that I at first thought was proud....you know the kind you see in Netball. TKD ended early because of the festive mood i guess. But somehow I got convinced by Christina to stay back to train some more hahaha. It was quite fun we get to learn extra. Tragically, next week TKD is having an annual celebration and lit night is on that same night!! Argh! I am still not very sure as to go for which.
Had a mini reunion dinner today it was great. Bought a new perfume for the new year hahaha.

meet up

Met up with the JC peeps. Went to City Square for dinner at Swensens. Met Kailing who I have not seen for a very long time but due to the fact that I did not know she was coming, I did not bring the message that Lisa wrote for her...next time then. Somehow after dinner we ended up at the airport. Hahahahaha! It is so convenient when one of your friends can drive! After our airport trip, Tp was kind enough to drop us at our house...ahhh the convenience~

mini update

Ok life is freaking busy!! Like damn it lah so damn busy. Had history presentation on thursday that kind of went bleh~ but it is ok I have learnt form my mistake and actually met him for consultation today for next week's presentation. Actually, if you have time to do what he suggest it is kind of interesting. Had a farewell party for Dr Whitehead....and i guess you could see that he was touched and bought us each a can of coke! Which I spilled by accident but had awesome friends who helped with the clean up.

Had TKD today and was super tired cause I did not have breakfast nor lunch as I was rushing with next week's history presentation. TKD was super fun today, time pass like really fast although after that I was like super super super tired and hungry. Went with the TKD people to canteen 2 to have like super late dinner but freaking fun still. Reached home at 11:45pm. On a side note, I was like in haven for 5 minutes hahahha it was awesome!!! LOLSSSSSSSS!!!!

I was thinking about what Jeanette said about Vegetarian food....and well I guess it does make sense. She was commenting on how vegetarian food does not necessarily equate to a healthier diet because there are lots of deep fried vegetarian food. So ultimately, one still has to make one's own crucial decision on what to eat... even in a vegetarian restaurant.Haiz.
