Tried this cute looking grass jelly drink. What really attracted me was the packaging as for the taste, well, I found it too sweet.

completed!!!

Manage to complete my 1000 pieces puzzle all on my own!!! hahahahaha! Yea, I guess now you kind of know how free I am...
Still, it was fun doing puzzles...I already feel like getting another one.
The initial stage....

The hard part was telling the tress and grass apart. However, I have to say the hardest part was the sky because everything was white and one piece looks exactly like the other...all white.
Still, after much hard work, I manage to finish it.
Ta-Da!!! The end product!!! ^.^

the real thing is always different

Saw an accident yesterday. I have seen accidents before but this was different and disturbing to me simply because there was like a lot of blood on the road. Ironically, the accident took place in front of the driving centre. The accident was between a motorcycle and a lorry....and the blood obviously belonged to the motorist. Not to sound cliche here but the blood really remind me how fragile human life is...
Met Sarah, Gil, RuC and Mariam on Friday night to supposedly catch CN Blue. It was kind of a last minute thing as I was suppose to meet my JC friends. Anyway, I only manage to catch a glimpse of them and I am satisfied. Hahahaha

On another note, I realise I might as well take Gillian's advice and do my readings during the long retarded breaks. Besides, once essays and projects starts, the time would be useful. I guess the long break don't annoy me as much simply because NIE will always manage to give you super long breaks in your time table. I am just upset that I did not get a four day week.
Have been watching a few YOG matches that are rather interesting hahaha I am somewhat inspire to run again after watching the YOG athletics. Of course, my running will be for leisure. Diving was interesting to watch too although I am sick and tired of watching China getting first...yawns. TKD was ok but not as aggressive as I expect it to be. Football is boring and one I never bother watching. Seriously, soccer is so overrated...

time table

So I receive my time-table today. I am freaking pissed with it!! I fcking hate NIE foundation office or whoever the hell who came up with this shit of a thing they call time-table. If almost all the lit/hist students can have Wednesday off than why not me too? I take the same freaking subjects too!! I hate the long break hours too but that is apparently common in NIE. Yesss in case if you have not notice we suffer alot and this is just time table...that is why we get paid in the first place.

Sighss..I am not really looking forward to school anymore...Haizzzzzzzz
And please I know lots of people out that who are happy about their time-table just don't rub it in my face and ask about my time-table if and when i meet you...
Sighs it seems a small thing to get mad about...but time-table last a whole sem and now I can't wait for this sem to be over and done with...

hair dye

I am currently thinking of using Liese hair dye instead of going to the shops to dye my hair. After reading the various reviews on the internet I realise that many of them share the same opinion in which, while the hair dye does cover your hair evenly, it tends to be darker than the picture. I also notice that most of those who coloured their hair using this product seem to have roughly the same hair colour result and that got me wondering as to whether there was any real differentiation in the colour. My sis have use the product before and I have to say her hair does look healthier as compare to when she use other brand to dye her hair. One thing is for sure, this hair dye is less damaging to the hair as compare to other products.

Nevertheless I think I am going to give this a try. I am not sure if Prettia is different from Liese but they are both bubble hair dye. Anyway, brands and products aside, I am more concern about which colour I should go for. I was thinking of trying Ash Grey but I can't help but feel that I should try that next year instead, just in time for my school practicum. Perhaps I will try a colour from the orange-brown series and if things don't turn out well I can always go back to the shops.

I got the pictures from this site, if you interested you can check it out for yourself

The sugar apricot colour looks really nice and I have never tried those orange-brown colour before...hmm..

Ghost - 07

Bought an anime DVD in KL two-three weeks ago. It has been a really really long time since I bought an anime DVD...I think I bought the last one in Secondary 4. Anyway, the story was rather interesting. My sister was the one who chose it for me. Initially, I wanted to buy Pandora but she recommended Ghost-07 and I am not regretting it at all. Apparently, it even won a double-first prize in the 3rd Zero-Sum Comics Grand-Prix, which is very rare.
I can't believe I have to spoil it all by accidentally reading the spoiler...WTH -.- I had to actually force myself to stop searching more about the anime or I am bound to end up reading more spoilers.

Ghost-07

Ah~ sometimes it feels good to catch up on old hobby.

JC/UNI/dolls

I was reading my previous posts and realise I DO miss srjc days alot. Hahah the stupid things we did the really retarded nicknames we gave people. The encounters with this people. Friday being potato salad day or something because food from that cafe is relatively expensive. Staying late in school to supposedly study. Ah yes good memories JC was really a great part in my life and I am happy to say so are the friends. Currently definitely still in contact with this awesome bunch. I remember going to school to supposedly study even during the holidays so that in reality I can just meet up with my A2 pals and hang around. I remember I did not really mind secondary school ending as we all have to move on but omg...I dreaded the last day of JC life. Still we all have to move on. Now I am seriously dreading the last day of uni life. Every semester that ends brings me closer to the last day of uni which I am totally not looking forward too.
Uni life have definitely been freaking fun too!!! Very very different from JC life. We definitely have more freedom. We can actually bring drinks into the class! I have to say staying over at friends hall creates one of the best memories. I seem to forget the workload. In uni it is really quite bad. OMG...the essays, the presentations, the readings, the tutorial preparation... What often happens is, I would stay in NTU or go to Jurong point with my friends and only reach home around 7pm and I would then rush my work until 3am, sleep and wake up around 9am to prepare for school. That kind of explains why when school starts the days pass by very fast....because I seem to be speeding through it. The only thing I am not really looking forward to in uni is actually the workload...sighs..
Now that I think about it, I swear it is the friends and me wanting to socialise more that actually made JC and Uni life this fun...just my opinion though.
On to a totally different topic. I found this Japaneses like dolls very cute! Apparently it is called a Kokeshi. I have a yellow one as a handphone keychain.

I remember going to expo on a Sunday not too long ago to get popular books that were on sale. The sale was held at one of the expo halls. Can't remember which one. Anyway, they were having a cosplay event there too. I could see that the cosplayers really did put in effort in their costumes. The cosplayers aside, I saw 3 to 4 guys carrying dolls like the one seen in the pictures below. One of them was even combing the dolls hair! The thing is these sort of dolls can be very expensive and so is their costume. I am not trying to be judgemental here but I think these geeky guys really need to get a life. From their appearance, it is pretty obvious they spent more on the doll than tidying themselves. I mean seriously grown guys playing with dolls! Them being on the heavy side is not the problem but they looked rather unkempt...their dolls were definitely in a better condition than them. and I am pretty sure this geeky guys do more than dress their dolls up. I think I am being judgemental....whatever..Next we will have these geeks wanting to marry their dolls like that guy in Japan who married some game character.

By the way, that is real food in that bento.... Apparently, the doll blogs too...seriously WTF!
Here's another one. I can understand if a girl buys these dolls. I mean we all enjoyed dressing barbie when we were little girls. I have to admit these dolls do look more interesting than barbie. I, myself would not mind getting one if I have like extra money to spend. I think it would be fun to dress this dolls up and place them in the cabinet like a collectors item. The thing is, I can't help but feel that there is something seriously wrong for a grown man to be playing with dolls.

a month

A month more before school begins. I still have things that I want/need to do during the holidays but thanks to my procrastination I have not gone around doing them. The holiday have been really unexpected and somewhat more interesting than I would have expected it to be. Somehow, I manage to escape the routine in which I would often find myself in during my previous holidays, which is to wake up in the afternoon and use the Internet or start gaming well into 4am. But, there are still things that I have not done and it is sometimes as simple as drawing. I do miss drawing but I have really gotten around doing any.
I thought of painting my room too. Glad to say that I manage to finish reading some of the books that I bought. Maybe I will try baking too. Hahaha sometimes doing something as simple as drawing, baking, reading or simply walking in a park (not macritchie!omg that was...let's just leave it at not simple) gives one a sense of peace and happiness. It is only during the holidays that we really get to do these simple things that somehow gives us a sense of peace. That said, I still miss school and can't wait for school to start again. Buying Ya Kun ice coffee, rushing into tutorial classes with my coffee, attending CCA, crashing friend's hall and the Macdonald breakfast!!! Of course although I am not looking forward to it, I guess studying harder is necessary so that perhaps...maybe next year I can go for the overseas exchange programme! Being active in life will actually make you feel alive because I am afraid of falling into a routine and that is scary because routine will in the long run turn to mundanity in which one lose oneself and the motivation to live or even without committing suicide, one is good as dead...a souless body. So people if you are think you are simply going through the mundanities of life, grab a book, pick up a sport, a musical instrument, go for plays or simply visit the zoo/ science centre/ bird park.....just do whatever it is that you like but don't often do. Something that breaks you away from your routine! even a jog or cooking a simple dish might work. Even if nothing exciting or life changing happens, I guess in the end being content in doing the simple things is just as enjoyable.

Mankind’s greatest gift, also its greatest curse, is that we have free choice. We can make our choices built from love or from fear.”
-Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Do what you want/can to make life more interesting, after all it is your choice!

On a super random note, I think, maybe I am going to change my hairstyle. I am definitely dying my hair again, not sure on the colour yet though....should I go for a bright colour since school experience is over or should I go for a darker shade of brown...hmmm tough choices. However, I am currently more concern about the style.

sch experience

Haha this is kind of late, but this was what I did during the student's art class during my school experience. I really had fun doing this one! Batik painting~ heheheheh

Tekken

Went to watch Tekken today with my sis after tuition. The show was quite interesting to me and thankfully they cast a good looking guy as Kazama Jin. He looks mixed...Eurasian I think. The only problem I had was that Hwoarang my favourite Tekken fighter, who uses Taekwondo is not in the movie!!! AHHHHHH!! I thought he would be in....I mean he is like the only one who manage to defeat Jin once! Rawrssss

green trip/ airbender

Went to Macritchie reservoir and can't say we had a great time there. It was interesting though, to me at least. Having the company of friends helps a lot. It has been quite awhile since I really really exercise. I guess this was kind of my first time doing a nature walk, the only other nature thing I remember doing was the mangrove walk which was seriously worst and a horror. Anyway, we went there to check the place out first before bringing interested people through the walk as part of our green club activity.
The HSBC treetop walk thing was not as high as I expected it to be but still it was worth the walk. I guess the worst part was when a bunch of monkey was in our way...omg that was seriously freaking scary. The lack of water and food did not help either, it really drained our energy and we only completed the walk in 5 hours time. Still, I shall be thick skin and say it was a job well done. Hahahaha Anyway, found out from alfie later in the day that there is short cut to the treetop walk and apparently that is only 5km.

Watched Avatar the Last Airbender today. It was surprisingly good....at least to me. I thought the story to be interesting and I have to say that the banished prince is most interesting. Hope they are making a part 2...I am actually excited for it.

This is kinda a day late but still....HAPPY 45th BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!

I found this year NDP too be alright. Love the old songs...the days when the streets of Singapore was actually filled with Singaporeans and not PRCs and what not. Sighs these people are given PRs so easily, it feels as though Singapore cater to foreigners and the benefit the locals is not much different than the benefits they get as well. All that aside, I hope that Singapore will continue to prosper because as cheesy as it sounds, this is our country, we were born here.

KL

Had a great time at KL. Did some shopping for the new semester at KL...lots of item were on sale..apparently it was their sale season. Lucky me!

On the highway
view from the hotel
I guess the only unfortunate thing that happened was the fact that I drank about three glasses of coffee on my first day there and got kinda unwell. Still, I had a great time there even though I have been to KL like a thousand times. Waking up to a hotel breakfast, watching movies, eating at restaurants and simply being with my family...ah simple and enjoyable.
